Drop-off Procedure

Please park in the designated parking lot at my residence. As we’re located in a neighborhood with other people and pets around, for everyone's safety, your pet must arrive on a leash, in a crate, or be carried. If you need to drop off earlier than your scheduled appointment time, please contact me in advance to make arrangements. Upon arrival, if I’m not immediately available to greet you, kindly send me a text to let me know you’re here.

Weight Restrictions
As much as I adore your gentle giants, I currently only offer grooming services for dogs up to 30 pounds. For existing clients, if your pet exceeds this weight limit over time, I’ll need to reassess whether I can safely and comfortably continue providing services.

Late Arrival Policy
If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, I’ll send you a quick text to check in and get an estimated arrival time. Please note, if you’re over 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and a no-show or cancellation fee may apply. For more details, please refer to the cancellation policy below.

Pick-Up Procedure

You’ll receive a text about 15 minutes before your pet’s grooming is finished. To help maintain a calm, low-stress environment, pets should be picked up within 45 minutes of completion.

If you anticipate needing more time, please let me know when booking so we can plan accordingly.

If you arrive before receiving a “ready for pick-up” text, kindly remain in your car until I notify you.

Cancellation Policy

You’ll receive an automatic text reminder 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled time will incur a fee of 50% of the quoted service price, which must be paid before booking your next appointment.

Repeated last-minute cancellations or rescheduling over a period of time may result in requiring a 100% nonrefundable deposit for future bookings—or possible refusal of service.

Exceptions will be made for true emergencies, including illness or severe weather.

For the health and safety of all pets, please reschedule if your pet has been vomiting, coughing, sneezing, or experiencing diarrhea within 24 hours of their appointment.

Payment Methods
Payment is due at time of service. I can accept Cash, Zelle, and Debt/Credit Cards.

Please note there is a 5% interest fee using a Debt/Credit Card.

Flea Policy

If fleas are found on your pet at drop-off, you’ll be asked to reschedule and return after they’ve been properly treated. If fleas are discovered after you’ve left, your pet will receive a mandatory flea bath, and an additional charge of $15–$30 will be added to your total.

The health and safety of all pets in my care—including my own—is a top priority. I thoroughly disinfect my grooming space between each client to prevent the spread of parasites or illness.

Severely Matted Pets Release

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When a coat has been neglected and becomes severely matted, the skin underneath can become very sensitive and may be prone to irritation, including clipper marks, redness, rashes, itchiness, minor nicks, or even hematomas—especially on the ears.

For your pet’s well-being, I do not brush out severe matting, as it can be extremely painful and potentially harmful. In these cases, a shave-down will be recommended to safely remove the mats and allow for healthy regrowth. From there, we can work together to get your pet on a regular grooming schedule to help maintain a healthy coat and prevent future matting.

By proceeding with grooming, you acknowledge and agree that Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC is not liable for any adverse reactions that may result from the condition of a matted coat. Please note, a matting fee will be added to the base grooming price for pets with excessive matting.

Behavioral Issues Release

For the safety of all pets and myself, any pet displaying excessive aggression may be refused service. It is your responsibility to inform me in advance if your pet has a history of biting or aggressive behavior.

If I agree to groom a pet with known behavioral issues, additional charges may apply based on the level of difficulty and risk involved. I always strive to make the grooming experience as calm and comfortable as possible. However, if a pet becomes overly aggressive or uncooperative to the point where it compromises safety, the grooming session will be stopped. Payment for any completed portion of the service will still be due at pick-up.

Unsatisfactory Groom Procedure

Your satisfaction is very important to me! If you're not 100% happy with your pet’s groom, please reach out within 24 hours, and I’ll gladly do my best to address any concerns and make things right.

Minor Accidents Release

While every precaution is taken to ensure a safe and gentle grooming experience, working with animals can sometimes be unpredictable. In the event of a minor accident or injury, you authorize Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC to administer basic first aid—such as applying styptic powder or natural remedies—to manage bleeding or discomfort.

Please rest assured that your pet’s safety is my highest priority, and I would never intentionally put them at risk. Minor incidents can occasionally occur during services like nail trimming, bathing, shaving, or handling severely matted coats. If such a situation arises, first aid will be applied immediately, and you will be notified as soon as the situation is under control.

By using my services, you also acknowledge and release Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC from liability for any injuries or incidents unrelated to the grooming service itself.

Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization Release

In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately. If your pet requires urgent care and you are unavailable or unable to respond in time, I will take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic:

The Animalife Veterinary Center
2171 Pine Ridge Road, Suite B
Naples, FL 34109

If Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC incurs any costs or expenses related to your pet’s veterinary care that are not the result of the grooming services provided, you agree to promptly reimburse those costs upon request.

Health/Veterinary Care Release

Please inform me of any known allergies your pet may have—whether to food, shampoos, colognes, or other products—as well as any existing health conditions.

You acknowledge that Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC does not provide veterinary care and that grooming can sometimes be stressful for pets, especially those with underlying health issues.

By using my services, you agree that Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, condition, or death resulting from pre-existing or undisclosed health issues that may be aggravated during the grooming process.

Senior Pets (age 10+ years) Release

When working with senior pets, my top priority is their comfort and well-being. Grooming for older pets is focused on minimizing stress and ensuring a gentle, positive experience—rather than aiming for perfection in appearance.

Please understand that grooming can occasionally cause stress, which may exacerbate existing health conditions or reveal underlying medical issues in senior pets. In rare cases, this stress can lead to serious medical events or even death.

By using my services, you agree to release Barks N Beauty Spa, LLC from liability for any health-related issues that may arise during or after the appointment, so long as they are unrelated to minor grooming accidents. If at any point I feel your pet is in distress, I will stop the grooming session for their safety.

Photo/Video Release

I love sharing your pup’s adorable transformation after their spa day! By using my services, you grant permission for any photos or videos taken of your pet to be used for promotional purposes, including social media and advertising.
